SAG Awards – just the Oscar’s little sister?

Hot on the heels of the Oscars – The Screen Actors Guild Awards or “SAGS” as it’s more commonly known, was held January 30, 2011.

Fashion took a significant departure from the colours and style seen at the Oscars. Blush pink, whites and the return of South American frills floated down the red carpet.

My favourite pick of the evening – Glee star Lea Michele. This ivory gold sleek fitting gown was a definite sequin winner.

Miss of the night – Nicole Kidman in Nina Ricci black lace gown. More gothic, than glamour, and does little for her light skin tone.

Sparkle sparkle at the 2011 Golden Globes

As the stars walked the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2011 Golden Globes more than photo cameras were flashing. The sparkle of full length sequin gowns were everywhere – Anne Hathaway, Angeline Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Olivia Wilde, Amber Riley, Carrie Underwood, Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson, Drew Barrymore… and the list goes on.
